What I Like Most About Moderating
I have always been fascinated with group process. It builds creative solutions to problems and highlights just how differently two people can view the exact same situation. The energy of the participants in a well-run group can be exhilarating and sometimes can even be down right fun!

Seven years teaching graduate research and assessment courses at Loyola Marymount University. Held marketing research positions in three different corporations (healthcare and computer software industries). Extensive clinical experience with a wide variety of patient populations (geriatric, terminally ill AIDS patients, ADHD children, psychiatric patients, etc). Extensive quantitative experience as well as qualitative. (Able to blend qual-quant projects). Twenty years of experience using SAS and SPSS statistical software. Heavy experience with multivariate statistical methods for demographic and segmentation studies. Statistical analysis and results write-ups on over 400 survey research projects. Tremendous experience explaining complex statistical and research concepts in plain English to non-statisticians
Hobbies
Accomplished trumpet player (music major as undergraduate, studied with two trumpet teachers from the L.A. Philharmonic). Enjoys jazz, classical, R&B and Broadway show tunes. Crossword and logic puzzles. Distance running (completed a half-marathon). Reading Dr. Seuss to young son James. Avid non-fiction reader.
